Modular Shelter Logic

Built for dignity, scaled for recovery

These domes are used in Airbnb rentals all over the world. Most of them come from factories in China and are customized according to need. They can be repurposed for homeless shelters, temporary living such as orientation, or FEMA-related disaster response. They can also serve as temporary offices, triage centers, and public service facilities.

As a more permanent structure, we spray insulation onto the frame, which bonds the outer skin to the frame, making it more rigid and storm-resistant. This provides better insulating efficiency, allowing the VAWT hybrid system to support both the home and the container farm. As shown in the video, a hot tub shed is attached to the tent; the same design can be used for a sterile indoor farm container, reducing shelter costs by 30–40%.

Capsule homes require a concrete foundation, whereas geodesic domes use a boardwalk foundation made from recycled rubbers and plastics, with portable fresh water and wastewater tanks on brackets under the deck that can be emptied by transport waste trucks. Wholesale from China, these domes are about 20 feet in diameter, offering 320 square feet of tiny home space for approximately $6,000 delivered. Installation requires four people and a forklift and takes 4–6 hours.

This prefab unit shelters a family of four with a full bed below and twin above. Convertible to a compact 2-bedroom, 1-bath layout. Balcony transforms into a hydroponic grow room—solving food scarcity with organic detox solutions.

BBSS design fits 40 units per acre, including a container farm for home-based business. Ideal for motivated individuals and families seeking autonomy and income.

Each unit consumes just 8–12 kWh/day. Powered by solar and BBSS-designed off-grid VAWT systems. Solves four core barriers to rehabilitation: food, jobs, dignified shelter, and utilities.
